Molarity = 10d% / Molar mass

= 10 × 1.06 × 10 / 66.5

= 1.6 M

Hope it helps!

saksham2332: sorry bt.... not in the option
Jhani: What is the nearest option?
Jhani: No other answer is possible
Jhani: Is it 0.159M?
saksham2332: options are 1--- 1.489M 2--- 1.420M. 3--- 1.420molkg^-1. 4 ----1.489mol kg^-1
saksham2332: for 100gm of solution

V=m/d=100/1.06=94.33ml

n of KCl in 100gm

n=10/74.5=0.134mol

 molarity=(n/v) *1000

=0.134/94.33=1.42M
saksham2332: got the answer
saksham2332: br is for line break
Jhani: This is also correct method but formula gives answer 1.6...
