in simple , unit of length in new system = 1 dm [because 1 dm = 10cm]
unit of mass in new system = 1hg [because 100g = 1hg]
so, value of density = 4(1hg/100g)/(1dm/10cm)³
= 4 × 1000/100 = 40 hg/dm³
