Given info : the density of dry air is 1.205 g/L.

To find : the mass of dry air in a room that is 3.658m wide × 4.572 m long × 2.438 m high , is..

solution : volume of the room = volume of cuboid = length × width × height

        = 4.572 m × 3.658 m × 2.438 m

        = 40.774 m³

we know, 1 L = 10⁻³ m³

so, the volume of the room in L = 40.774 × 10³ L

now the mass of air in the room = density of dry air × volume of the room

                                                     = 1.205 g/L ×  40.774 × 10³ L

                                                     = 49.13267 × 10³ g = 49.13267 kg ≈ 49.13 kg

therefore the mass of dry air in the room is 49.13 kg.
