the diagonal of a square is 10cm. Find its area.

A squares Diagonal Cuts it into Equi-isoceles Triangles...

and All Angles of a Square are 90°

By RHS criterion.

(Side)²+(side)²=(diagonal)²
→2(side)²=10²
→(Side)²=100/2
→Side=√50 cm.


So the area of a Square=Side ×Side=√50×√50
=50Cm²...

hey man i will use A as area and d as diagonal.

☯️A=a square

☯️ d=. √2a
Solving for

☯️ A
☯️ A= 1/2d^
A=1/2×10×10=50cm^
