answer

235.71

explanation

the diameter of a circle is 20 cm , to find the area of the shaded part which is 3/4 first of all we should find the area of the full circle and then to find the area of quarter circle and then to subtract the area of quarter circle from the area of full circle

Diameter is 20 cm then the radius is half of the diameter which is 10 cm

area of circle = πr2

= 22*10*10/7

= 314.28 cm2 approximately

to find the area of quarter circle we should divide the area of circle by 4

area of quarter circle = 314.28/4 = 78.57 cm2 approximately

to find the area of 3/4 circle we should subtract the area of quarter circle from the area of circle

area of 3/4 circle = 314.28 - 78.57 = 235.71 cm2 approximately

therefore the area of the shaded circle is 235.71cm2 approximately

I hope it will help you
