Basic Questuon.
First of all C=2πr
Then by using this formula you can take out either, *Radius* and *Circumference*
And as you know, D(diameter)=1/2 of R(radius)
So,
Diameter= 6 and Radius=1/2 × 6 =3
R=3
C=2πr
C=2×22/7×3
C=132/7
C=18.85714...
C=18.85

Given : The diameter of the circle is 6 cm.

To find : The circumference of the circle.

Solution :

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process. (our goal is to calculate the circumference)

First of all, we have to keep in mind that :

Dimeter = 2 × radius

Now, the circumference of the circle will be :

= 2 × π × radius

= 2 × radius × π

= Diameter × π

= 6 × 3.14

= 18.84 cm

(This will be considered as the final result.)

(Value of π can be taken either 22/7 or 3.14, as per the given instructions of the question.)

Hence, the circumference of the circle will be 18.84 cm.
