The diameter ofa roller is 48m and its length is 120cm, If it takes 1500 revolutions to level a
playground, find the area of playground in m^2​

Answer:

d = 48m

therefore, r = d/2 = 48/2m = 24m

length of troller = height of cylinder = 120cm = 120/100m = 12/10m

  • Area of playground coverd by a roller = no. of revolutions × CSA of roller

= 1500 × 2πrh

= 1500 × ( 2 × 22/7 × 24 × 12/10 )

= 1500 × 181

= 271500 m^2 {Approx.}
