Let the sum of money be Rs x
Rate=7.5%
Time =2 yrs
SI = x*7.5*2/100 = 3x/20
CI = x{(1+7.5/100)^2-1}
= x {(43/40)^2-1 }
= x {(43)^2-(40)^2/(40)^2}
= 249x/1600
Now CI -SI = 360
or 249x/1600 - 3x/20 = 360
or 249x - 240x/1600 = 360
or 9x =360*1600
or x = 64000
Therefore the sum is Rs 64000
