Heya....
Here is your answer ---

______________________
Let the smaller number be x
Then, the larger number = x+7 (since the difference is 7)

____________________
Now, ATQ :-
____________________

=> 6x + x + 7 = 77

=> 7x + 7 = 77

=> 7x = 77 - 7

=> 7x = 70

=> x = 70/7

=> x = 10
_______________________

Smaller number = x = 10
Larger number = x + 7 = 10 + 7 = 17

hey@!
here's your answer!
_______

let the original smaller number be x .
and the larger number be y.

now,
According to the question,
y-x = 7 - no. (1)
and 6x + y = 77 - no.(2)

now solving both the simultaneous equations,
we'll get ...

( the equations have been solved in the attached picture) ( they have been solved on subtracting both the equations)

the value of the smaller no x will be = 10
now,
substituting the value of x in the first equation no.(1)

the value of y will be
y - x= 7
y-10 = 7
therefore,
y= 10+7
therefore,
y = 17
