let one integer be x,
other be y,
Difference Between two integers= x - y=36....(i)
now acc.to the question x/y=4....(ii)
By substitution method.

x=36+y

substitute x in eq.ii 36+y/y=4

36+y=4y
36=4y-y
36=3y
y=13

substitute y in eq.i
x-13= 36
x=36+13
x= 49

One integer is 13 and other is 49

Hope it is correct...

Given: Let x and y be positive Z (Intergers)
Let x>y.

X - Y = 36
 \frac{x}{y}  = 4
Proof:

Using substitution Method,
X = 36 - Y
Y = 36 - X

So, Substituting in X/Y
 \frac{36 - x}{36 - y}  = 4 \\ 36 - x = 4(36 - y) = 144 - 4y \\   - x = 144 - 36 - 4y = 108 - 4y \\ x = 4y - 108 = y - 27...

I hope qn is wrong sorry..
