Difference of p and ( - 8 ) = 3
⇒ p - ( - 8 ) = 3
⇒ p + 8 = 3
⇒ p = 3 - 8
∴ p = -5.
Verification :
L.H.S = p - ( - 8 ) = -5 + 8 = 3
R.H.S = 3
Verified.
Therefore , p = ( - 5 ).
Difference of p and ( - 8 ) = 3
⇒ p - ( - 8 ) = 3

⇒ p = 3 - 8
