Step-by-step explanation:

let the digit in 10's place be x and digit in unit's place be y.

since original number = 10x + y

by interchanging or reversing

number become = 10y + x

according to given conditions,

x = 3y .....(I)

10y + x = 10x + y - 54 ....(II)

substituting value of x in equation (II)

10y + 3y = 10(3y) + y -54

13y = 30y + y - 54

13y - 31y = -54

- 18y = - 54

y = 2

now substituting value of y in equation (I)

x = 3 (2)

x = 6

original number = 10(6) + 2

= 62
