then,

10x+y is the number

when digits are reverse the new number will be written as

10y+x

from the question,

(10x+y)-(10y+x)= 36

9x-9y = 36

9 (x-y)= 36

x-y=4 ............. .....................equation (1)

also,

in number tens digit is 3 time of unit placed digit

then,

x= 3y ............ ....................equation (2)

from equation 1 & 2,

3y-y = 4

2y = 4

y = 2

so from equation 2

x= 3y = 3×2 = 62

now the original number = 10x+y = 10×6+2 = 62
