volume of cuboid = volume of cube

l * b * h = a * a * a

49 * 35 * 25 = cube of a

cube root of 49*35*25 = a

a = 35cm

surface area of cube= 6a square

                                 =6 * 35 *35

                                 = 7350 cm cube

Hello.......... ^_^

Here is your answer...

Given:-
dimensions of a metallic cuboid is 49cm, 35cm, 25cm

Volume of cuboid = length X breadth X height
= 49 X 35 X 25
= 42875 cubic cm

(according to the question)
The metallic cuboid is melted and recast into a cube

so,
Volume of cuboid = Volume of cube
 = 42875 =  {(side)}^{3}  \\   =  \sqrt[3]{42875}  = side \\  = 35
side of cube = 35cm

Surface  \:  \: area  \:  \: of  \:  \: cube = 6 \times  {(side)}^{2}  {cm}^{2}  \\  = 6 \times  {(35)}^{2} {cm}^{2}   \\  = 6 \times 35 \times 35 {cm}^{2}  \\   = 7350 {cm}^{2}

Hope it helps.......... ^_^
