For the bigger cuboid

lenght of cuboid = 4 cm

breadth of cuboid = 8 cm

height of cuboid = 1 cm

Therefore,

Volume of cuboid = Lenght X Breadth X Height

= 4 X 8 X 1

= 32 cu. cm

For smaller cube

Side = 1 cm

Therefore,

Volume of cube = side X side X side

= 1 cu. cm

Numbe of cubes = Volume of cuboid / Volume of each cube

= 32/1

= 32 cubes

Therefore, Number of cubes that can be cut out of the cuboid is 32
