The distance from Delhi to Abraham =180km.

We can use this to get the speeds for both John and Jill.

Speed=Distance/time

Speed for John is:180/2=90km per hour.

Speed for Jill=180/3=60km per hour.

At 9 am when Jill leaves, John will have covered :1×90=90km

Lets assume that they meet at a point B which is (x+90) km away from Delhi.

Then it means that Jill will cover 180-(90+x)km to reach B.
This gives :90-X

The time they take to reach B is the same and John covers Xkm to reach B.

Equating the times we have:(90-X) km/60=X/90

90(90-X)=60X

8100-90X=60X

8100=150X

X=54Km

The time is therefore 54/90=36minutes for them to meet

The time they meet is :9.00am +36minutes
Which is 9.36a.m
