The edges of a breadspread that is 3m long and 2m wide .Must be sitiched with lace how much lace is needed

Dimensions of the bread,

Length = l = 3m

Breadth = b = 2m

Lace required = perimeter of the

rectangle

= 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 3 + 2 )

= 2 × 5

= 10 m

Length of the bread spread is 3 m long and width is 2m.
According to the question it must be stitched with lace.
So we have to find out the perimeter=2×(3+2)=10m
Hence,length of lace needed is 10 m.
