Since the empirical formula of the compound is CH2O, its molecular formula can be written as n(CH2O) = C(n)H(2n)O(n),

It is given that 0.0835 moles of the compound contains 1g of H i.e 0.0835 mol -> 1g of H,

This means (2n)(0.0835) moles of H in the compound contains 1g of H i.e (2n)(0.0835) -> 1g,

(2n)(0.0835) = 1,

2n = 12 or n = 6,

So the molecular formula of CH2O is C6H12O6

i hope it will help you
