this figure is the parallel so 4(x+7)=5(x-20) ,4x+28=5x-100. ;5x-4x=100+28; x=128

Answer: The value of x is 28.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

angles are as follows :

4(x+7)\ and\ 5(x-20)

Using linear pair we get that

180^\circ-(4x+28)\\\\=180^\circ-4x-28\\\\=152^\circ-4x

So, we know that "Corresponding angles are equal".

So, it becomes,

152-4x=5(x-20)\\\\152-4x=5x-100\\\\152+100=5x+4x\\\\252=9x\\\\\dfrac{252}{9}=x\\\\28=x

Hence, the value of x is 28.
