Solution :-

Length of each carpet = 4 m

Breadth of each carpet = 2.5 m

Area of each carpet = 4 × 2.5

= 10 sq m

Area of 26 carpets = 10 × 26

= 260 sq m

Area of floor of the hall = Area of 26 carpets = 260 sq m

So, area of floor of the hall is 260 sq m

Answer:

area of floor = area of 25 carpets

Step-by-step explanation:

length of eachcarpet=40m

breadth of each carpet=2.5m

Area of 1 carpet= 40*2.5

=100m^2

area of 25 such carpets =25*100

=2500m^2
