hence area of the floor=l×b
=5.5×4
=22m²
given the length of the tile is 11cm and 5cm
so the area of the tile=l×b
=11×5
=55cm²
in metres=0.55m²
therefore no. of tiles required to cover the floor=22/0.55
=40
hence 40 tiles are required.
