Venturi metre is a machine used for increasing the velocity of the traveling liquid by decreasing the pressure of the liquid. Only works for a ideal liquid that is a liquid which is incompressible and antiviscous. it is a pipe like structure as a whole and has a decrease the area of transfer in the middle of the pipe which increases the velocity of the traveling liquid.

Blood transfusions and transfers are done through Venturi meters where very large amount of blood is needed by a person in a short period of time.
