per second, the amount of water mass is:

mass of water striking wall in one second = 0.0001(1000) = 0.1 kg

the velocity change of the water = 10 m/s - (-10 m/s) = 20 m/s

the IMPULSE of the wall against the water in one second = 0.1(20) = 2.0 N-s  The amount of force against the wall = 2.0/1 = 2.0 N ANS

Answer:

1 N

Explanation:

F = mv/t for Force water exerts on wall.

v = 10m/s

m/t = 0.0001(1000)/1 = 0.1kg per sec

Therefore, F = 0.1 × 10

F = 1N
