the force between two charges placed in vaccum is F. what happened to the force if the two charges are dipped in kerosene oil of di-electric constant K=2​

Answer: the force of interaction between them will reduced to half of its initial value i.e.,F/2.

Explanation: This is because force of interaction particles is inversely related to the dielectric constant of the medium initially the medium was declared then we change it to kerosene of dielectric constant 2 so that dielectric constant is doubled then the force should be Halved.
