ANSWER
_______________________

Relation :

Volume of immersed part / Volume of solid = Density of solid / Density of Liquid

Given density of liquid = d
Volume of solid = Vo
Density of solid = Do

From above relation

Volume Immersed / Vo = Do / d

Volume immersed = ( Do × Vo ) / d

Volume above surface of water = Vo - Volume Immersed

= Vo - ( Do × Vo / d )

= Vo ( 1 - Do/d)

Let x be the fraction of volume of object floating above the surface of the liquid.

As weight of liquid displaced = weight of object

 \sf{∴(V \small_{0}−xV_{0})dg=V_{0}d_{0}g}

 \sf (1−x)d=d_{0} or x=1−dd_{0}= dd−d_ {0}
