The giant saw the most wonderful sight in his garden . he saw that there is also spring in his garden , children were playing and birds were cooing . he was really surprised to saw that when children came in his garden , the frozen tress were converted to green and the was very wonderful

The giant did not want to share his happiness with anybody. He wanted to enjoy his garden all alone. That is why the Giant is called selfish.
