Infact it is directly proportional to the product of the two masses of the bodies.

Gravitational force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance of the bodies.


It is NOT DEPENDENT ON :

(i) Shape of the bodies.

(ii) Material of the body.

(iii) Size of the body.
