Then the height of parallelogram be 3x/8

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height.
=>x × 3x/8 = 96
${3x} {}^{2} \div 8 = 96 \\ 3x {}^{2} = 96 \times 8 \\ x {}^{2} = 96 \times 8 \div 3 \\ x {}^{2} = 32 \times 8 \\ x = \sqrt{256} \\ x = 16$
