hey
here is ur answer
▶▶▶▶▶▶▶⏯
let one side be x
The other side is 34-x
-----------------------------
Pythagoras:
x^2 + (34-x)^2 = 26^2
x^2 + 1156 - 68x + x^2 = 676
2x^2 -68x + 480 = 0
x^2 - 34x + 240 = 0
(x-24)(x-10) = 0
x = 24 or x = 10
------------------------------
One side is 10 cm the other is 24 cm.

given side=26cm
the sum of two sides=34cm
x+x+26=26+34
2x+26=60
2x. =60-26=34
2x. = 34
x. = 34/2
x. =17
therefore x=17
the length of two sides=17
