- Sindhu word was mispronounced as INDOS by the ancient Greeks who had the habit of misprouncing the word.

- Even Bharatvarsha was mispronounced as INDOS by the Alexander and his historians.

- In Roman Indus became India later on, which was first in latin pronounced Sindhu as Indus.
