When water and the solutes move out of the glomerular capillary and make its way to the Bowman’s capsules then a filtrate is formed.

It has everything apart from the blood and that is why it is referred to as the initial filtrate.

The initial filtrate is 180 litres.

But most of the filtrate is reabsorbed by nephron.

the filterate collected by Bowen's capsule consists of glucose, amino acids, urea, uric acid, salts and water .
