Inner volume=2m×1.2m×0.75m,
Outer volume=(2m+2.5m)×(1.2m+2.5m)×(0.75+2.5m)
=4.5m×3.7m×3.25m
Volume of wood=Outer volume-Inner volume
=54.1125m-1.8m
=52.3125
Cost of wood=5400×52.3125
=282487.5

Jack183739: this is wrong......WOOD IS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BOX SO OUTER DIMENSIONS WILL BE; LENGTH OF INNER DIMENSION + 2.5 + 2.5 , AND THIS SHOULD BE DONE WITH THE OTHER TWO OUTER DIMENSIONS AS WELL......
