Respected sir,
          Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to draw the attention of the authorities and the people towards the insanitary conditions in our colony which are causing lots of issues...There is no clean public toilet here.....those eho use the existing toilets are caught with dangerous diseases ....we had a conversation regarding this with our concerned authorities,and our ward members but no action is seen to be taken from their part...people especially women are finding it very unsafe to live here......The streets are not swept regularly..There are lots of garbages dumped on the streets such that people cant even move through the road ...flies keep buzzing throughout the day..It is, therefore, requested that the sanitary staff be instructed to take necessary steps in the matter...
         I hope that the concerned authorities would take the necessary action....

Subject : Complaint about the insanitary condition.

I shall be very thankful to you if you allow me to express my opinion about the mosquito menace in our locality.

After the heavy rain, the water stagnates in the drains and narrow lanes of our locality. Mosquitoes breed over the stagnant water. They spread several diseases like malaria, dengue and chikungunya. The residents lead a miserable life as the passage from one street to the other is blocked and the movement of the people is curtailed.

The roads in this locality are full of potholes and big ditches which allow stagnation of water. Thus, mosquitoes breed over them. The roads in our locality have not been repaired for the last three years. Thus, the potholes became a breeding ground for the mosquitoes. The residents have to face the mosquito menace. People live under the fear of dengue, a dangerous disease.

I, therefore, request the concerned authorities to repair the street lanes and roads immediately so that the mosquitoes so not breed over the stagnant water. The street drains should be repaired so that the water flows out. Chemicals should be sprinkled at the various spots to check the breeding of mosquitoes.

I hope that immediate and effective steps will be taken to solve the problem.
