Therefore, diameter is the hypotenuse of the triangle      ....[ prop. of semicircle]

let a & b be the other sides of the triangle

Therefore, a²+b²= (2r)²

we know that A.M≥G.M

so, a²+ b²/2≥√a²b²=ab

ab/2 ≤ r²

S ≤ r²

area of circle=  πr² ≥πS
