let the breadth of rectangular field be X m,then its length will be 2X m
we know that,
perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )
therefore , 2(2X+X)=150
6X= 150
X=25
length =2X = 2×25=50m
breadth =25 m

A rectangle is a closed figure of four sides. Opposite sides are parallel and equal.

Let the length of the rectangle be x meters

Then the breath will be 2x meters.

As \:  we  \: know  \: that \:  \\ perimeter \: of \: a \: rectangle \\  = 2(length \:    +  breath) \\  \\

We have given the perimeter of the rectangle is 150 meters.

Inserting this value in the formula we get.
 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \: \:  \: 150  = 2(x + 2x) \\  \\  =  >150 = 6x \\  \\  =  > x = 25

Now we have length = 25 meters ,and
breath = (25×2) meters
= 50 meters .

Area of the rectangle = length × breath.

Area \:  = (25 \times 50) \: meters \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  = 1250 \: meters
