Acc to the question length and breadth of a park are in ratio 2:1.

Let length be "2B" then breadth will be "B"

Also, 2 * (2B + B) = 240m.

or, 6B = 240m.

or, B = 40m.

That means length will be 80m i.e. twice of B.

Now, a pathof 2m wide runs inside the path alongthe boundary.

Length and breadth of inner part will be 76m and 36m respectively.

Area of inner part = 76 * 36 = 2736$m^{2}$.

Area of path = Outer area - Inner area = 3200 - 2736 = 464$m^{2}$.

∵Cost = Rs (3 * 464) = Rs 1392. [Ans]
