The length and breadth of a rectangular compund of a bunglow are 12m and 600 cm respectively. Square tiles of length 30cm are to be fixed there. Find the number of tiles required. Find the cost of fixing the tiles at rate of 20rs per sq m.

first we will find out area of the bunglow
area of bunglow = (l×b)
=12m × 6m (convert cm into m )
=72 m

but you have not given breadth of the square tile

if you got that than find out the area of square tile and divide it by area of bunglow

than you have to multiply the answer by 20 to know the cost of tiling
