the length and breadth of rectangle are 12 cm and 5 cm find the length of the diagonal , area of the rectangle, perimeter of the rectangle

length=12cm
breadth=5 cm
perimeter=2×(length+breadth)
=2×(12+5)
=2×17
=34cm

area=length×breadth
=12×5=60cm²

length of diagonal is supposed to be done by the Pythagoras theorem
which states, ab²+bc²=ac²
so,
12²+5²=ac²
144+25=ac²
169=ac²
so the length of diagonal=√169=13

hence, the perimeter is 34cm, area is 60cm² and the length of diagonal is 13cm

length of the diagonal  = root(144+25)
                                    =  root(169)
                                    = 13 cm
area of rectangle         = 12*5
                                    = 60 square cm
perimeter of rectangle = 2*(12+5)
                                    =2* 17
                                    = 34 cm
