Answer:

27

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of cuboid=length∗breadth∗height.

Volume of cube=side

3

(since length, breadth and height are same)

The dimensions of the cuboid that is given are 5,4 and 3.

In order to carve a cube out of a cuboid all the sides have to be equal.

The volume of the cube has to be the MAXIMUM volume that can be carved in.

All the either can be 5 or 4 or 3. It cannot be 5 because other sides are less that 5. They cannot be extended. It  cannot be 4 either bacause the third dimension is less than 4 that is 3. So all the dimensions of the cube have to be 3 cm

Therefore the maximum volume of the cube that can be carved of it is

⇒3∗3∗3=27 cm

3

Given :

  • The length ,breath and height of a cuboid are 5 cm ,4cm and 3 cm.

To Find :

  • The volume of cuboid = ?

Solution :

⍛ Length of cuboid = 5 cm

⍛ Breadth of cuboid = 4 cm

⍛ Height of cuboid = 3 cm

⍛ Volume of cuboid = ?

As stated in the question, cuboid has Length of 5 cm , Breadth of 4 cm and height of 3 cm and we need to find the volume of cuboid here just simply we have to add this given values in the formula of cuboid which is given below :]

  • Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × height

Finding the volume of cuboid :

→ Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

→ Volume of cuboid = 5 × 4 × 3

Volume of cuboid = 60 cm³

  • Hence, the volume of cuboid is 60 cm³.

★ Formulas related to cuboid :

  • Volume of cuboid = l × b × h
  • C.S.A of cuboid = 2(l + b)h
  • T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
