Answer:

the length of the field=124m

the breath of the field=96m

the perimeter of the field=2(l+b)

=2(124+96)

=2(220)

=440m

no.of times the boy revolved=4

the total distance=440×4=1760m

the speed =6km/hour

speed =distance/time

time=distance/speed

=1760/6000

=.293333333333333........

\huge\sf{Answer :- }

Given :-

  • Length of a field = 124m

  • Breadth of a field = 96m

  • Speed of the boy = 6 km/h

To Find :-

  • Time required to complete 4 rounds of a field

Solution :-

We know that ,

Perimeter = 2(length +breadth)

By substituting values,

➙ 2( 124m + 96m )

➙ 2( 220m )

➥ 440m

Hence , The Perimeter of the field is 440m

For 4 rounds Perimeter,

➙ 440m × 4

➥ 1760m

Speed of the boy = 6km/h

Distance is in metres so, we convert the speed into metre per second

➙ 6km/h = 6 × 5/18

➥ 5/3 m/sec

Time taken to complete 1760m distance :-

we know that,

Time = Distance/Speed

By substituting values,

\large\sf{➙  \frac{1760m}{ \frac{5}{3}m/s } }

➙ 1760m × 3/5

➠ 1056 sec or 1056/ 60 = 17min 6 sec

Hence ,The Boy will take 1056sec or 17min 6 sec to cover 4 rounds around the field
