Solution :-

Let the breadth of rectangle = x

Length of rectangle = x + 3

Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

= x (x + 3)

= x² + 3x

According To Question :-

(x + 3 + 9) × (x - 5) = x² + 3x

=) (x + 12) × (x - 5) = x² + 3x

=) x² - 5x + 12x - 60 = x² + 3x

=) x² + 7x - 60 = x² + 3x

=) 7x - 3x = x² - x² + 60

=) 4x = 60

=) x = 60/4

x = 15

So, the breadth is 15 m.

Length = 15 + 3 = 18 m.

Hence,

The Length of rectangle is 15 m.

The breadth of rectangle is 18 m.

Answer:

breath =b

length =b+3

Area=b^2+3b

If length =b+3+9=b+12

breath=b-5

Area=b+12×b-5=b^2-5b+12b-60=b^2+7b-60

b^2+7b-60=b^2+3b

b^2+7b-b^2-3b=60

4b=60

b=15

length =18cm

breath=15cm
