the length of a rectangle in 2cm more than its breadth and its breadth and its perimeter is 28cm. find the dimensing of rectangle.

let breadth of the rectangle be x
hence, length= 2x+2


perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)
2l + 2b
2(2x+2) +2x= 28
4x + 4 + 2x =28
6x = 24
x = 4cm

dimensions
length = 2x +2
= 10 cm
breadth= x
= 4cm
