Let the breadth of the rectangle be x

then,

the length of the rectangle = 5 + x

perimeter of rectangle = 250 m

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

perimeter of rectangle = 2(5 + x + x)

250 = 2(5 + 2x)

250 = 10 + 4x

4x + 10 - 250 = 0

4x - 240 = 0

4 (x - 60) = 0

x - 60 = 0
