the length of a rectangle is 5cm less than twice its breadth if the length is decreased by 3cm and breadth increased by 2 cm ,the perimeter of the resulting rectangle is 72cm .find the area of the original rectangle

Breadth = x
Length = 2x-5

New breadth = x+2
New breadth = 2x-5+3

X+2+2x-5+3=72
3x=72
X=24
Breadth is 24
And length is 43
