Let breadth of a rectangle be x
And length of a rectangle be 7/5x
Perimeter = 144 m
Area?
Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( l+b)
144m = 2 (7/5x + x)
144/2 = 12x
72 = 12x/5
x = 72×5 /12
x = 30
So, breadth = 30m
And, Length = 42 m
Then,
Area = length × breadth
= 42 ×30
= 1260 m2
