Let breadth = x
Length = x +3
Area of rectangle =10 Sq m
Perimeter =?
Area of rectangle = length × breadth
10 = ( x )( x +3)
10= x ^2+3x
x ^2+3x -10=0
(x+5)(x-2)=0
x=2 or -5
Length or breadth won't be in negative values
Therefore x =2
Breadth=2
Length =2+3=5
Perimeter =2 (l+b)
=2 (2+5)
=2×7
=14 m
