The length of a rectangle is six times its width. If the area of the rectangle is 294 yd 2 , find its perimeter.

Let breadth = x
Let length = 6x
A/Q = lxb=294
6x*x = 294
6x² = 294
x² = 49
x = √49 = 7

∴Breadth = x = 7yd
Length = 6x = 6x7 = 42yd
