Let's :-

  • Breadth of rectangle = x

  • Length of rectangle = 3x

According to Question :

⇒ 2 ( x + 3x ) = 96

⇒ 2 × 4x = 96

⇒ 8x = 96

⇒ x = 96 / 8

⇒ x = 12

Lenght of the rectangle = 36 cm

Breadth of rectangle = 12 cm

Answer:

let the width of rectangle=x

then length of the rectangle=3x

Perimeter of the rectangle=96

2(l+b)=96

x+3x=48

x=12cm

Breath of rectangle=12cm

Length of rectangle=3×12=36
