the length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth. if the perimeter of the field is 228 metres, find the dimensions of the field

Let the breadth be x.
So,length=2x
perimeter=228 m
228=2 (2x+x)
228=2 (3x)
228=6x
6x=228
x=228/6
x=38 m
breadth=x=38 m
length=2x=2 (38)=76 m
