the length of a rectangular Park is twice its breadth if the perimeter of the park is 186cm find its length and breadth

here's ur answer...

let the breadth of the park be x. therefore length of the park = 2x.

perimeter of the park = 186cm

→ 2(l+b) = 186cm

→ 2(2x+x) = 186cm

→ 2(3x) = 186cm

→ 6x = 186cm

→ x = 186/6

→ x = 31cm

therefore breadth of the rectangular park = x

= 31cm

length of the rectangular park = 2x

= 2×31

= 62cm

verification:-

perimeter of the rectangular park = 2(l+b)

= 2(31+62)

= 2×93

= 186m

hence verified
